As it turned out, I never had to have the second surgery on my left eye, discussed in my last post in January 2014. By early March, things had remarkably improved and the tearing that had continued after the first surgery simply stopped. Today, more than 2 years later, my problem is gone. I have normal tearing, no dry eye, and certainly no weepy eyes as I did when this all began. For me, the surgery (for both eyes) was a complete success!
I highly recommend if you are considering this type of surgery to deal with the chronic tearing, you should go for it!
